In October, Mike Sanborn, Teaching Pastor at Granada Heights Friends Church and John Baima, River of Comfort Board member, have the opportunity to visit with Steven and Carol while also traveling to Rwanda, to participate in the celebration of the opening of the Thousand Hills International University at TL-Africa.
After the celebration they will travel to Nairobi, for a Pastoral leadership conference that Steven will meet them at to attend. Once the conference concludes, Steven, Mike and John will travel to Narok, where they will get a chance to see the completion of the security wall and recent projects, deliver supplies and fellowship with the family, staff and residents.
With the opportunity to see them and bring supplies, we have asked the Lentoror's for a list of needs at the facility and things the family would love to have from the States. If you feel led to give towards these needs or would like to purchase items for us to bring over, please see the list below:
Mike and John depart on October, 14th. Please make arrangements to drop any supplies off or have them picked up by October 11th. If you would like to hear more about the trip please stop by our table at the ministry fair at Granada this Sunday, or at our fundraiser immediately following at the Stand in Whittier (see flyer below).
We so appreciate your partnership and ask that you cover this trip in your prayers. We are so thankful for this opportunity to see them and love on them and those in their care.
